The Cobras are playing San Francisco tonight at 8:30pm Eastern. It's such a shame because my bed time is at 9pm; I might make it to 10pm before crashing.

A Sicilian - I only played closed/grand prix and have no understanding of any other sicilians so I can't comment much on it.
Friedel-SF vs. Milman-CAR
A Ruy Lopez. The Marshall they've said. Move 17 - Friedel has an hour and Milman has 38 minutes.
Pruess-SF vs. CraigJones-CAR
A French, I only play exchange as white - so another game I don't know much about. :)
Zaikov-CAR vs. Bhat-SF
A Nimzo-Indian - something else I don't play - at least not yet. (Forget about this mention future d4 opponents)

Have you ever been to see them play?
I would love to see them play, but it's a 2.5 hour drive to Durham from Jacksonville.
BTW, I've been meaning to ask you if the Thursday night chess talks still happened in Chapel Hill. If they do, I want to harrass my brother into going since I can't attend.
Also, I love your blog. You write and break down the material very well. Those are skills I haven't learned in my 20 years of playing.
The Thursday night series has been cancelled, unfortunately. I heard the coffeeshop kicked us out because they weren't making any money off the deal.

I wouldn't suppose you know where I would go in the html to widen the width of the columns for both posts and the links?
Sorry, not sure how to fix such things. I assume in the template there is a 'width' variable that is pre-set. Perhaps you could change it? IT would likely be at the top of the template, above the actual content.
I just looked and indeed at the template there are things like this:

}
Try changing the width settings to be wider and see if it works!
